The 6th hole (Rubicon) is the course's signature hole.  A longish Par 4, this hole is fraught with danger from start to finish.  With out of bounds adjacent to the tee and continuing all the way to the green, a right to left slope which will take the ball down to the left and bring the old oak tree into play and too long a drive will bring the walls and gully into the reckoning.  Negotiate the tree,gully and OOB and a mere mortal will have a short pitch to a flattish green.  A 5 here is most acceptable to members.
