The 2nd hole (Dip) is a steeply downhill Par 3. The tee shot must be accurate as out of bounds runs tight down the whole of the right hand side.  a small narrow green nestles at the bottom of a left to right slope.  Members tend to favour playing between 'The Coffin' and the green and allowing the ball to run down onto the green.  Depending on the dryness of the course, this may be as far left as the trees or alternatively played short of the gully and hope for a kindly bounce through it and down to the green.  A hazard lies directly behing the green, so beware going big.
